RITUALS
"Then shall you sing, dance, feast, and make music and love.
For such pleasures are the rituals of the Goddess."
~~from the Charge of the Goddess

The Circle follows the Wiccan Wheel of the Year.
Since most of us do follow Earth-based religions, it makes sense to honor that cycle, to celebrate the ebb and flow of the Universal energy as days lengthen and then shorten; to participate in the joyful energy of springtime and to rest in the dreamtime of winter. Even though we try to recognize the sacredness of each day, these eight particular days serve as vivid reminders of our connectedness to Mother Earth and to the Universe.
Each Sabbat has a Fact Sheet, with our gathered information about that Sabbat. A great deal of it is available online and certainly there is plenty more on the Internet than we have here. Consider this as a starting place.
Each Sabbat also has a Ritual page, where you will find at least one script for a ritual the Circle has held. Beneath the Sabbats section, you will also find an assortment of other rituals such as handfasting, home protection and various blessings. These are also a starting point for you.
You are able to incorporate either the Sabbat or "general purpose" rituals found here into your own rituals--but we do ask that you contact the Circle for permission and a copy will be emailed to you. All material specific to the Circle (the rituals, not the fact sheets) are copyrighted to the Circle/author.
